VIEW GALERY BIOGRAPHY With a successful graphic design and illustration business venture firmly established over the past 9 years and progressively involved in ever more significant projects Andy is undoubtedly at the forefront of contemporary graphic art applications. Always interested in painting and drawing from a young age, Andy began his career with his involvement in Melbourne's early rave scene back in 1993 creating UV murals for parties. His love of electronic music and all things digital lead him into the realm of computers in 1997 after finishing a graphic design course at Monash University Melbourne. Over the past 9 years Andy has created a cult following with his unique style of "techno-organic" artwork inspired by the fusion of nature and technology. His greatest influence coming from nature documentaries and science fiction films. He integrates photography and computer generated imagery to create alien worlds and atmospheric montages based on the visual representation of Trance and other Electronic music genres. Inspired by the ever evolving, intrinsic relationship between nature and technology, Android produces lavish works in many formats, incorporating complex and varied themes of science, nature, electronic music and planet Earth. Celebrated and sought after for his extensive repertoire of artwork, design and concepts. Designing for record labels and Promotional companies such as Turbo Trance, Good Mood, Exposure Productions, Wirikuta Distribution, Green Ant, Earthcore, creating artwork for CD covers Flyers etc. Andy's elaborate, multi-layered works are a sensory feast, inspiring and drawing the viewer into a tangled world of intricate beauty. Expanding his horizons to include a growing number of international festivals and exhibitions, such as The Technart Exhibition in Rotterdam, Boom Festival Portugal and the Melbourne Fringe Festival. The depth of Android's superbly executed compositions are as rich in melancholic harmony as the music many of his images bring to life. With the exploration of the moving image, the next step in the evolution of Android art is animated visuals. Android hopes to capture electronic music in fine detail, one day animating visual structures that move and morph in perfect time to the many layers of sound audible in todays electronic music.
